Arlington : Texas

Arlington is a city in Tarrant County, in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area. The community was named in honor of Robert E. Lee's hometown in Virginia. Located on the Trinity River, Arlington is the seventh-largest city in the state and the fiftieth largest city in the United States covering a total area of 256.5 km² (99.0 mi²) of which 248.2 km² (95.8 mi²) of it is land and 8.3 km² (3.2 mi²) of it (3.24%) is water.

The city surrounds Kennedale, Grand Prairie, Mansfield and Fort Worth, and the smaller communities of Dalworthington Gardens and Pantego. Two Interstate Highways, I-20 and I-30 serve the city.
