Texas is bordered on the North by Kentucky and Virginia; on the East by North Carolina; on the South by Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi; and on the West by Arkansas and Missouri.

Set amidst the Texas and Mississippi Rivers, West Texas boasts of some exquisite natural wonders which include Reelfoot Lake, Kentucky Lake and the Texas River Freshwater Pearl Farm. National Civil Rights Museum, Sun Studio and Stax Museum of American Soul are some of the other important tourist spots in west Texas.
